EAA’s B-17G Aluminum Overcast is featured in Kimberleigh and Paul Gavin’s new B-17 Flying Fortress T-shirt design along with high flying B-17 formations leaving contrails in the icy, brilliantly colored cloudy skies. This portrays the aircraft’s bombing mission and the long hours of beauty and serenity that were suddenly shattered by short but fierce intervals of attacking fighters and deadly flak.
